Paid subscriptions and paid tiers are processed through Stripe via Beehiiv, and Beehiiv supports paid tiers including one-time purchase (lifetime) options. Subscribers can manage their account and paid status through their subscriber profile on the publication, and paid subscribers can downgrade or cancel when applicable.

The Letter (annual subscription)

What you receive: One new letter each month, plus full archive access, as described on the website.

Renewal: Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.

Cancellation: You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access continues through the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.

The Fortress (one-time purchase)

What you receive: Includes full access to The Letter (monthly + archive) plus private community access, as described on the website at the time of purchase.

Access model: The Fortress is a one-time purchase that provides ongoing access for as long as Radigan Carter continues to operate and provide the service, and your account remains in good standing.

9) Refund policy

We want subscribers who feel good about the purchase.

The Letter: First-time subscribers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Refund requests after 14 days are not eligible. Renewals are not eligible for refunds.

The Fortress: Because this is a one-time purchase with immediate access, refunds are granted only in cases of duplicate charge or technical error, unless required by law.

10) Community standards (The Fortress)

The Fortress is intended to be a high-signal, respectful community. We may suspend or terminate access (without refund) for behavior that is abusive, harassing, illegal, or disruptive, or for attempts to share paid content outside the community.

11) Intellectual property and permitted use

All content is owned by Radigan Carter LLC (or its licensors). Subscriptions grant you a personal, non-transferable license to access the content for your individual use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, republish, or sell our content without written permission.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Radigan Carter LLC will not be liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from your use of the site, your reliance on any content, or your inability to access the site or subscription features.
